Film pitch meeting This is the meeting that I had with a number of other piers talking about my film and the general storyline/setting. This will give others an idea of what to expect from my film, and gave them the chance to question me on any queries they had about the pre-production of the film.

This part of my pre-production is the film treatment. This is the general idea that i have had based on the setting, locations, characters and plot. it gives a starting idea of what my film is going to consist of. This is listed in such a way that makes it fluent and easy to read.

Film Script   Plot:   Set as the sun is going down in modern day in a forest. First scene is the victim and the murderer. Close up shots of trees and bushes blowing in the wind. Close up of a puddle then a footstep splash runs through it. The camera is t rucking along with the victim as he continues sprinting. Panting, the victim trips over a rock and falls onto the floor where the camera faces up and the murderer is looking down onto him wearing a face mask.    The murderer grabs the victim's shirt and pulls him close to his face.    Murderer ( Angrily ): “This is what you deserve”   As soon as the word ‘deserve’ is said, the murderer pulls back his fist and hits the victim in the face, knocking him out where the camera fades to black.    Still in the forest   -Murderer is carrying the victim over his shoulder as he slowly becomes conscious again. He is tied up at the hands (behind his back) , ...

This is a spreadsheet for the budget of the film. It will not cost me any money to film the actual film as i will be provided with the equipment from the school. I feel like the idea of laying this out in a spreadsheet was the best as it is easy to read and well laid out. This will help me understand what i will need when recording and how much it will cost.

I did research on the permissions needed to record in certain areas to get a basic idea of what i need to consider for my film introduction. This is a small sheet of information giving me the knowledge that i need for location planning. This will help me choose the location that I want to film in, allowing for the best choice of setting for the genre of film I have chosen.

These are the initial ideas I have come up with for the creation of my film. I chose to do a list as I can clearly read through this and refer back to my initial ideas in the future. This is the basis for the final production so this will have a great impact due to the ideas I have written.

This is the initial plan of what i will need to consider for my film. I have decided to portray this in the form of a mind map as I believe it is the easiest way to see all the aspects I need to do. This will allow me to analyse everything I need to include in my final production.
