Pre-Production Report This report will give information on the contents of what takes place when making a creative digital media production. There are many pre-production elements which need to be taken into action before resulting in the final product. By doing these, you are ensuring that everything is thoroughly planned out with caution and judgement so that the final product of your media production is successful. I have been studying some case studies in which I will refer to in this report. These being ‘Monsters’, ‘World War Z’ and ‘One Mile Away’. This is the initial plan of what i will need to consider for my film. I have decided to portray this in the form of a mind map as I believe it is the easiest way to see all the aspects I need to do. This will allow me to analyse everything I need to include in my final production.
I decided to create a table for the different types of equipment that i will need. This shows the reasons why i need the equipment, how i intend to obtain it and if it will cost any money. I used a table to display this information as the contents for each piece of equipment is clearly visible.
